What data we collect
Local file tools process text and media on your device. AI text generators send the entered text through ClipGG to an external AI service. Highlights sends transcripts only when AI content analysis is enabled. Site traffic and external resource requests are separate from file processing.

- By default, audio analysis and clip export stay on your device. If enabled, the transcript and timestamps are sent through ClipGG to an external AI service. Transcripts may be cached on this device in IndexedDB (up to 50 entries).
Cookies
NEXT_LOCALE remembers a manually chosen language for one year. Local storage remembers the theme and generation timestamps for rate limiting. Highlights may retain up to 50 transcripts in IndexedDB until cleared or evicted. Browser caches may retain downloaded models. Optional sign-in uses session cookies.
Analytics
Google Analytics measures site usage. Google may receive usage and technical information and use analytics cookies. This is not a promise of anonymous or zero-data browsing. Files, prompts and transcripts should not be included in analytics events.
Third-party services
An external AI service receives AI input text and enabled highlight transcripts. YouTube thumbnail requests expose the video ID to ClipGG and Google image services. Model/library downloads contact Hugging Face or jsDelivr. Cloudflare handles hosting requests. Provider log retention and training terms have not been independently verified; no zero-retention promise is made. Enabled Google/Microsoft sign-in supplies account profile data for a session.
